  • TYPROS x Black Tech Street: AI Seminar

    AI is changing the way we work but knowing how to use it well is becoming just as important as knowing how to use it at all.

    TYPROS and Black Tech Street are partnering to help young professionals better understand how AI can be used ethically, strategically, and effectively in the workplace. Through Black Tech street's Aspire training course, participants can expect to gain the knowledge and confidence to use AI as a tool that enhances their work while aligning with organizational values and producing high-quality results through hands-on learning and practical application.

    Whether you're just getting started or already experimenting with AI, this session will give you practical takeaways you can put to work immediately.

    Day of Service connects young professionals with meaningful service opportunities while also helping them better understand the incredible impact these organizations have on families throughout our community.

    We'll kick off the morning at Coracle Coffee before splitting up to head to our volunteer stations throughout the community.

    Volunteer opportunities: 

    Catholic Charities: From pregnancy care to end-of-life care, and everything in between, their 15 programs and 7 locations serve those in need across Eastern Oklahoma. They are the largest provider of food to individuals in need in the state of Oklahoma, but also provide dental care, adult education, immigration legal services, transitional living for pregnant women and single mothers, and more.

    BeHeard Movement: BeHeard is a mobile drop-in center bringing showers, laundry, haircuts, and support on wheels to neighbors experiencing homelessness across Tulsa and Oklahoma City.

    Animal Aid of Tulsa: Animal Aid of Tulsa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to saving sick, injured, and abused stray dogs and cats in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

    TU x TYPROS: Alumni Tailgate

    On Thursday, October 1, we’re bringing TU alumni, TYPROS XLT and current TYPROS members together for a fall night in Tulsa.

    We’ll start with a pregame tailgate from 6:00 Pm - 8:00 pm built for reconnecting. Catch up with the people you went to school with, served alongside or met somewhere along the way, then head into the stadium together to cheer on the Golden Hurricane. Entry to our tailgate is through gate 2.

    And this one gives you another reason to show up.

    Through a special TYPROS ticket, a portion of every ticket purchased will go directly back to TYPROS, helping fund the programs, experiences and connections that are developing Tulsa’s next generation of leaders.

    The future of Tulsa’s businesses, nonprofits, civic institutions and community organizations depends on our willingness to invest in the next generation of leaders today.

    Instill is TYPROS’ annual awards and fundraising event, bringing established and emerging leaders together around a shared belief: Tulsa’s future is worth investing in, and its strength depends on the people prepared to lead it forward.

    Through live painting, interactive experiences and an awards presentation honoring those making a meaningful impact, Instill will celebrate the many ways leadership, creativity and care shape our community. Proceeds from the event support TYPROS’ work to engage, develop and champion Tulsa’s young professionals.
