Join the TYPROS Sustainability Crew on Saturday, April 25th at 12:00 PM for an exciting behind-the-scenes look at Tulsa’s recycling operations! While recyclables aren’t processed on Saturdays, the tour will feature engaging videos and presentations that walk through how each part of the system works, along with insights into local curbside and drop-off programs and municipal customer service efforts. Attendees will get to see the facility in person and experience the impressive scale of the operation firsthand. The tour typically lasts 45–60 minutes, with plenty of time for questions at the end. The observation area and education room are climate-controlled, though guests should be prepared to climb two flights of stairs to reach them. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety. See below for a map of the facility and where to park. More detailed parking instructions will be shared ahead of time to ensure a smooth visit. We hope to see you there!

Join TYPROS’ Leadership & Service Crew as we partner with BeHeard Movement for a hands-on opportunity to serve our community in a meaningful way.
BeHeard is Oklahoma’s only mobile drop-in center, meeting neighbors where they are by providing essential services like showers, laundry, haircuts, and case management—all on wheels. Through innovation and community-driven solutions, they are working to create real impact for individuals experiencing homelessness.
During this service project, TYPROS members will have the opportunity to plug in wherever help is needed. Whether that’s cleaning shower units, packing hygiene kits, assisting with laundry, or supporting other on-site needs.
This is a chance to step in, give back, and be part of a movement that’s making a tangible difference in Tulsa—one neighbor at a time.
