While sustainability is often associated with waste reduction, recycling, composting and gardening, it is truly a broad and complex topic that is deeply affected by large systemic issues and inequity.
This Pride Month the TYPROS Sustainability x Diversity Crews are honored to feature Krystal Reyes, Chief Resilience Officer of the Mayor’s Office of Resilience and Equity (MORE) for a discussion about public health, housing, and education in Tulsa.
MORE is charged with implementing a broad strategy to promote resilience and equity in Tulsa in all aspects of city life. MORE also oversees the complaint and investigation process for Tulsans who experience discrimination in housing, employment, or public accommodations. In addition, MORE works in partnership with five commissions who represent and advocate for women, Latinos, African Americans, and Native Americans, and human rights in Tulsa.
