Join TYPROS Arts & Entertainment Crew for an exciting Swing Dance experience!
Here you will learn the basic fundamentals of Swing dancing techniques from our guest instructors to get you moving! Afterward, we will test those dance moves on the dance floor, followed by a live jazz band!
Enjoy the most popular social dancing for all ages. We will learn the swing dance from the 1920s-1940s Jazz Swing Era of Harlem. Lessons will include the six (6) court swing, which is also known as, "East Coast" technique. Some refer to it as Lindy Hop, Charleston, Collegiate Shag, and Balboa.
The first 10 to register will receive tickets! However, if you wish to participate in this event, TOSS has provided the A&E crew with discounted tickets for you all to dance with us. The cost to attend is $5.00 dollars (cash or card) at the door which covers your entry, dance lesson, and social dance!
No partner needed, family friendly, all ages welcome! Can’t wait to see you on on the dance floor!
