Oklahoma has experienced an increase of exciting television and movie projects over the past few years thanks to incentives encouraging productions to film principal photography in-state; studios such as Cherokee Film have been founded to fill this need. Join us as we tour their two studio facilities in Owasso!

Cherokee Film Studios provides superior practical and virtual production soundstages, production offices and support services in the Cherokee Nation reservation, for use by internal and external film and media clients, offering advanced XR capabilities, editing and pro audio suites, full hair-and-makeup facilities and many other amenities. Their mission is to reclaim Cherokee and Native narratives by increasing representation across film and media while creating an ecosystem that supports production and drives economic activity in the Cherokee Nation.
