Join the Arts and Entertainment and Diversity Crew for an after hours look at "Since I Laid My Burden Down", a visual art exhibition by Kaneem Smith and Romeo Clay Robinson, hosted exclusively at Phillips Theological Seminary. This exhibition reflects on the enduring legacies of the Tulsa Race Massacre.
Each spring, Phillips hosts an exhibition and lectureship honoring the resilience of the Greenwood District and confronts one of the most devastating acts of racial violence in U.S. history. Through the interpretation of professional artists, Phillips' annual exhibitions offer a comprehensive look at some of the most important issues facing our society today – providing a space for visitors to learn about different cultures, histories, and perspectives and to reflect on their own sense of belonging and identity.
