TYPROS: Behind the Scenes Recycling Facility Tour

Join the TYPROS Sustainability Crew on Saturday, April 25th at 12:00 PM for an exciting behind-the-scenes look at Tulsa’s recycling operations! While recyclables aren’t processed on Saturdays, the tour will feature engaging videos and presentations that walk through how each part of the system works, along with insights into local curbside and drop-off programs and municipal customer service efforts. Attendees will get to see the facility in person and experience the impressive scale of the operation firsthand. The tour typically lasts 45–60 minutes, with plenty of time for questions at the end. The observation area and education room are climate-controlled, though guests should be prepared to climb two flights of stairs to reach them. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety.
